Rohit P N is a Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for bringing ideas to life using the power of data and AI. He has a keen interest in the domain of Machine Learning and its application in Computer Vision. With a curious mind, Rohit is always eager to learn about new and upcoming technologies, as well as dive deeper into pre-existing ones. Currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Graphene Services Pte Ltd, Rohit has previously worked as an Artificial Intelligence Intern at the same company. During his tenure, he built three language models that achieved state-of-the-art performance in the domain of interest using BERT-based pre-trained models and deployed them in the text processing production pipeline hosted on Azure. He also implemented features in a web-based AI platform with a tech stack including Angular, Flask, and MS-SQL, which is currently being used by 5+ FMCG clients. Rohit developed and deployed an AI pipeline with 4 language processing stages and a GUI for visualizing insights in the FMCG domain. Rohit has also worked as a GDSC Lead at Google Developer Student Clubs, Ramaiah Institute of Technology, where he led the largest coding club on campus with over 800 members. He was responsible for conducting technical contests, workshops, and talks to cultivate the coding culture on campus. He taught various tools and technologies to 500+ students through 15+ workshops and conducted over 5 competitions with over 100 participants each. Rohit has a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science and Engineering from Ramaiah Institute of Technology, where he graduated in 2021. He also has a background in Computer Science, having studied it at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 2007 to 2017. Rohit's tech stack includes ML, Computer Vision, AI, NLP, Pytorch, Python, SQL, BERT, language models, Flask, Azure, and Web. With 2.20 years of relevant experience, Rohit is a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for exploring new technologies and applying them to real-world problems. Outside of work, he enjoys reading philosophy and trying to make sense of his own existence.
